offers workers and independent contractors the ability to market their
services in order to get hired. You can learn more about the membership

How
much does it cost to become a member?
We have four profile options available for workers:
Six
(6) months paid up front - $72
Six
(6) months paid in monthly installments - $15 per month ($90 semiannually)
One
Best Deal! (1) year paid up front - $60
One
(1) year paid in monthly installments - $8 per month ($96 per year)
We
accept all major credit cards, and workers have the option of paying
on a monthly basis as well as a one-time fee. Should you want to pay by check please
contact us to make arrangements.
Should
you want your profile to appear in more than the fifteen (15)
job categories, additional job categories can be purchased in increments
of ten (10) for $15.
The
“Manage My Projects” option costs an additional $59/year.
Registered
workers can edit their profile by choosing the “My Profile” option
in the “My Account” drop down in the top navigation.
How
do I upload my photos?
Registered
workers can upload or edit photos by choosing the “My Profile”
option in the “My Account” drop down in the top navigation.
What
do I do if I don’t see the job category I need?
Hirers
can either choose a similar category. Please inform us of a missing
category that you’d like added, and we’ll do our best.
What
if I am not available to work for an extended period of time?
Workers
can hide/show their profile whenever necessary by choosing the “My
Profile” option in the “My Account” drop down in the top navigation.
What
is The Hive?
The
Hive is the worker bee area of the website. Some of the features
in The Hive include: Partner and Profile Spotlights, The Honeycomb which
is a listing of the partner discounts available, Biz Buzz (who’s hiring),
Rate the Boss, and access to the Resource Center.
Do
you post jobs on your site?
Yes.
Workers can view current part-time jobs in the Biz Buzz section of The
Hive, the working bee area of the website. To view the complete
list of jobs, you must be a registered worker.
What
is the “Rate a Boss” feature?
Registered
workers can access a list of “boss ratings” in the valley that are
compiled by other workers.

HIRERS
How
much does it cost to find and/or contact a worker?
It’s
free! We want you to use our site whenever you need to find a
worker, so whether you just want to browse our database of workers or
actually contact a worker and even their crew, there’s no charge.
Hirers
can sign up for additional fee-paid services geared towards hirers such
as the ability to “Manage Your Projects.”
How
do I contact workers?
There
are two options available when contacting a worker. You can either
hit the blue “Contact Me” button under the profile picture on that
worker’s profile page, or if pressed for time, you can contact an
entire category of workers by selecting the gray “Email All Workers
About This Job” button on the Choose A Worker screen in the Job Categories
section.
Do
you guarantee the quality of workers on your site?
No.
Although HireMeAspen’s goal is to connect quality workers with quality
hirers, we make no guarantee as to the workers qualifications or experience.
We encourage you to perform independent background searches as needed.
What
if I am dissatisfied with the workers performance?
You
are ultimately responsible for the direct relationship you share with
the worker hired, and will need to settle any disagreements regarding
their work performance directly with that worker.
Who
submits the ratings for the workers?
We
have developed an algorithm for the rating system which is based on
a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years in the valley,
years of experience, and posted recommendations.
How
do I know if I am overpaying for the fees charged by the worker?
We
recommend you review several profiles in the same category to get an
idea of the average rate charged for that specific job. However,
many factors including rate should come into play when hiring a worker,
such as years of experience, rating, references, etc.
What
role does HireMeAspen play in my job or project?
Once
you’ve selected a worker for your job or project, complete any necessary
paperwork with them directly and schedule their services. HireMeAspen’s
role is merely that of connecting workers to hirers. Once that
connection is made, HireMeAspen is no longer involved unless a hirer
decides to manage their projects with HireMeAspen. HireMeAspen
is not responsible for any work performed or agreement made between
the hirer and the worker.
Is
the worker I hired bonded, licensed and/or insured?
When
a worker registers a profile, they are asked for this information which
appears in the “Credential” section of their profile.
Please confirm these credentials with your worker before hiring them,
as we do not confirm or guarantee credentials submitted at this time.
For added security, we recommend you contact the insurance provider
to verify current coverage before beginning a project. Not all
workers are required to have licensing to perform work in your home.
The state of Colorado does, however, require Plumbers and Electricians
to be licensed. Many service professionals must be licensed within
certain municipalities. Please contact your city for requirements.
What
if I change my mind and don’t want to hire the worker for my job or
project?
As
long as you don’t have an executed contract in place with the hired
worker, you can cancel at any time and are under no obligation.
However, in consideration of our worker bees, please don’t hire a
worker unless you are confident that the job needs to be filled.

What is your cancellation policy?
You
can cancel your membership at any time and request the immediate removal
of your profile. Any unpaid fees are due and payable for the remainder
of your term.
